My Speech On The Road Ahead - 1447 Words

Sitting back in my chair, I patiently waited for my favorite blue horse to answer his phone. The seat I was sitting in was comfortable enough, and it was no issue for me to stay patient. In fact, after all of the terrifying things that had happened over the past week, it was a tremendous relief to be able to take a drive with my father through the countryside. An hour ago we had left New Francisco, three suitcases and a little over fifty thousand credits worth of raw materials in the trunk of the car. Now we were on one of the old highways, traveling through fields with nearly nothing to see but the road ahead of us and wild greenery. While it was apparent that my father wasn t comfortable with this, I didn t mind it at all. When is your friend going to call you back? He asked, focusing on the road ahead.
